DJBET电竞菠菜人 www.nhsanshi.com KEGS takes its mission to help its students to develop as ‘principled global citizens’ very seriously, and we value both the breadth of our curriculum and the range of international activities which our students undertake both within and beyond the classroom. All of our students learn at least one foreign language – French, German, Russian or Mandarin – to GCSE level. In the sixth form, students have the possibility of taking the Cambridge Pre-U in Global Perspectives in addition to their 4 A Levels.
In 2010 KEGS received British Council accreditation as an International School, in recognition of the imaginative ways in which members of the KEGS community rise to the challenge of preparing for their future roles as global citizenship.
Our exchange partnership with Wirtemberg Gymnasium in Stuttgart dates back more than 50 years. We also have vigorously active partnerships with Lycee Notre Dame de Bellegarde in Neuville-sur-Saône near Lyon, Wuxi High School No 1 in China, and Mogonjet School in Kenya, as well as our newly founded partnership with the Ernst Barlach Gymnasium in KIel, which allows KEGS students to complete up to two weeks of work experience in Germany. Students of Theatre Studies, GPR and English departments are all working with their counterparts in Wuxi, and the Mogonjet partnership forms a keystone of our KS3 Personal, Social and Health Education programme.
KEGS students can participate in an array of internationally oriented extra-curricular activities during their school career, from KS3 students on our exchange programmes, to senior students on World Challenge and Operation Wallacea. All KEGS students participate in Model United Nations events at least three times in their school career, and a highlight of the MUN calendar is our participation in the prestigious Royal Russell MUN conference where delegations come from as far afield as Japan.
